Our Gantt charts (barcharts) offer a huge variety of options designed to present your project information exactly as you want to see it.

The diagram above shows a barchart which illustrates some of the key features:
General
- The overall time span of a barchart is defined by the user; it is possible to zoom in to view any portion of the chart in as much detail as required.
- The chart can display the non-working periods of a project calendar.
- The timebase display will automatically adjust the information displayed depending on the current view.
- The barchart will display the "time now" (current date) as a vertical line.
Bars
- A barchart can contain any arbitrary selection of task or summary data.
- Each bar can have its own presentation style, showing baseline dates, early and late dates, and progress.
- Task data (including resource assignments) can be displayed alongside the bar, or in columns to the side.
- Bars can be sorted by a wide variety of criteria, and multiple bars can be displayed on a single line if desired.
- Logic (relationships) between tasks can be displayed or suppressed as desired.
Columns
- Columns can be added on either side of a barchart sheet
- They can display task/summary data, resource data, computed earned value data, or profile scales
Profiles (Histograms)
- Profiles are an integral part of a barchart, not a separate window. They will recalculate dynamically as data changes.
- Profiles data can be displayed as curves/histograms and as data cells below the barchart (which can be exported via the clipboard into other packages such as Excel).
- Profiles can be based on baseline, early or late dates. Multiple profiles can be stacked or shown side by side.
- The time interval used to calculate the profile can be selected - the example shows a profile based on financial periods.
- There is a wide choice of methods for selecting the data used to calculate a profile, including by work package(s), summary structure(s), resource(s) or resource groups.
- It is possible to create "expression profiles" using spreadsheet-like syntax which will combine data from several profiles together.
